The most notable change in the starting line up was Dean Henderson starting in goal as David De Gea was unable to play for personal reasons. The first chance of the game came in the twelfth minute when Matic‘s driven shot was going straight for the top corner but was deflected wide by the Crystal Palace goalkeeper. The majority of the first half was very evenly matched between both teams with chances coming from either side.
The first substitution of the match came from the Crystal Palace side when Jairo Riedewald came on in the sixty third minute to replace James McCarthy. Man United made their only substitutions in the seventy forth and sixth minute respectively when Scott McTominay came on to replace Fred followed by Daniel James coming on to replace Edinson Cavani. The last substitution of the match was from Crystal Palace who brought Jeffrey Schlupp on to replace Eberechi Eze. The match finished a nil all draw in what was a boring match from start to finish.
Although there were no stand out performances tonight I would have to give my man of the match to Dean Henderson who did make a very good save towards the end of the match which saved us from coming away with no points today.
