Fresh off a huge victory on Sunday in a local derby, Manchester United face-off against AC Milan in an intriguing Europa League Quarterfinals matchup.
The last times these sides met was in 2010, in the Champions League. Players such as Beckham, Pirlo, Evra, Ronaldinho, Rooney, Scholes, Vidic and Ferdinand graced the field.
Wayne Rooney was magic for United in 2010, United would be happy with a similar performance from this current side’s ace, Bruno Fernandes. Park Ji-Sung infamously marked Andrea Pirlo into oblivion during the tie in 2010.
This current AC Milan side are one of the better sides AC Milan have had in the last ten years. Managed by Stefano Pioli the Milan club currently sit in second place of Serie A.
The former defender Pioli has turned things around in Milan, the Rossoneri boast the 5th best defense and 6th best offense in Serie A. They also have a plethora of great talents at their disposal.

Key quotes from the pre-match press conference:
“Of course for a team when you win, it does something to you. It could be a catalyst to something bigger or better, we want to get there at some point, last year the lost in the Semi-Final was a tough pill to swallow.”
“Edison is fully focused on being available for us and working really hard to get fit. He is very proud to play for Man United, he is always going to give his best. A decision has not been made.”
“I do not think he [Rashford] will be available for tomorrow, he did not join in for training today. Normally being an optimistic guy, I think he is out tomorrow and a doubt for the weekend.”
“I am not sure if anybody will be back, Donny no, Paul no, Edison maybe probably not, Juan no and Marcus maybe probably not,” said Solskjaer when asked about returning players from injuries.
United will be without the mentioned players.
Anthony Martial looks likely to lead the line after coming off a solid performance during the weekend, getting plenty of praise from his manager by doing so.
United could move around pieces at the back. Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof sometimes switch and we could possibly see Alex Telles. Luke Shaw put in a heroic performance on Sunday and could use a break.
